“ I started going to Jalapeños in 2001 when I went to UK and it's just as amazing now as it was then. The queso is just thick enough and so good with those warm tortilla chips. My husband and I have always been a fan of the enchiladas and can't find anything as good where we live in northern Kentucky. My son is now a fan too and loves the tacos Al carbon. We go whenever we're in town for games or just to visit. It's a gem and I highly recommend it! The service is always quick and friendly too. ”

“ We discovered Jalapeños thirty years ago and at that time it was hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Lexington. Absolutely authentic, amazing food and consistent quality. We moved to the northern part of the state 25 years ago, but were able to enjoy a location there for several years until it closed. We missed it and could never find a suitable replacement. Now, decades later, we're still visiting the remaining location and enjoying the same great food, friendly atmosphere and service, and the same amazing authentic recipes as at the beginning. Jalapeños is a Lexington institution. All the others are just wannabes. ”
